In the 1851 census Esther was a 21 year old House Servant to Revd Charles Ward (Curate of Diss) and his family at Norwich Road Diss.
Esther married Albert Cooper in the Jun quarter of 1851 at Guiltcross district, Norfolk – (13 271) - Albert died in the Mar quarter of 1852.
In the 1851 census Albert Cooper was a 21 year old servant (Blacksmith) for Robert Gilbert a Master Millwright of Westgate Street Banham.

Point of interest:
In 1850 (Feb 05) both Esther Elsey and Albert Cooper were witness to the marriage of John Browne (Esther's cousin) to Hannha Maria Cowels at St May's Church Diss - Entry 228 - is this where they met?
