Below we have an entry of 'Marriage Banns' and from all accounts it appears to be Walter - However, no offical marriage record has been found. in 1861

. However we find them together in the 1871 census we find Walter and Charlotte together states he is in fact married. .

Married at Stepney 1856 to Charlotte 24 and 2 children, Walter William 4, Charlotte 2 - Native of Reading Berks: Father William & Mother Ann were married at St Giles, Reading. Father is a Weaver and reanted a house, 5 Vine Court, Queens Road, Reading at 2/6 a week. Ex was at Small Court, Guardian Street, Reading which Father rented but at low rent. Parents were both natives of Reading but dead. Has 2 brothers living there.

Things now get interesting for we no discover Walter and Charlotte did not get married after all for in 1872 Charlotte married John Harris using her maiden name.

46 Hanbury Street was the Whitechapel infirmary Walter was one of 44 other lodgers of various trades

Walter could have died sometime before 1882 as his daughter Charlotte stated in her marriage to John Beadle that her father was deceased - No Record Found
